History of Marwari College :
Marwari College established as teaching institute in 1941 by Shri Raj Bahadur Bansidhar Dhandhania, to now one of the best college under TMBU. As the success grows, in 1950 Bhagalpur Municipality gifted 12.4 acre(20 bigha) land for 99 years lease to college.

Marwari College always follows UGC model of curriculum and has 21 department in all three faculties Arts, Science & Commerce. Based on New Education Policy, Marwari College started following Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) from 2023, as per guidelines provided by Raj Bhavan & TMBU. The old 3-year graduation still runs for before 2023 students took admission. But for now Marwari College, only accept UG admission through 4 - Year UG Programs with minimal fees & eligibility. Afterwards students has to visit offline exam center for final exam. The publication of final results by TMBU is also proceed in time in online or Offline mode.
Admission in Marwari College :
In Marwari College, Admission take place at the starting of Academic year through New Education Policy Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). Interested students can apply both online & offline mode as suggested by college. For now Admission take place by merit basis, but comming year every student has to qualify entrance exam.
