In a dramatic turn of events, Pune police have made another arrest in connection to the tragic Porsche accident that claimed the lives of two individuals in the Kalyani Nagar area. The grandfather of the 17-year-old minor, who is accused of driving the luxury car at the time of the incident, was apprehended for alleged wrongful confinement of their family driver.
The investigation unveiled a startling points as it emerged that the teenager's family, including his parents, had allegedly forcing the family driver to take the blame for the fatal collision. The teen's father, Vishal Agarwal, has also been implicated in this unfolding saga.
According to police reports, the family driver filed a complaint, leading to the registration of a separate case against the teenager's grandfather and father under sections 365 and 368 of the Indian Penal Code, for kidnapping and wrongful confinement.

Details emerged of a harrowing ordeal for the family driver, who allegedly endured confinement in his own home on the premises of the Agarwal family's bungalow from May 19 to May 20. It was only through the intervention of his wife that he managed to break free from his captivity.Just a day prior, Pune's police chief, Amitesh Kumar, had hinted at attempts to deflect responsibility from the underage driver. The incident itself, involving a high-end Porsche, purportedly driven by the underage drunk teenager, resulted in the tragic loss of two lives.
As the legal proceedings unfold, a local court in Pune has remanded six individuals, including the teenager's father, to judicial custody. Meanwhile, the teenager remains under observation in a juvenile facility until June 5.
This latest development underscores the complexities surrounding the case, as authorities continue to delve into the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision and the subsequent actions of those involved.
