The Indian Navy is inviting applications from unmarried men and women to join the 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme (Permanent Commission) for the January 2025 course. This is a golden job opportunity to become a Permanent Commissioned Officer in the Executive and Technical branches after completing a four-year B.Tech course at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala.

- Total Vacancies: 40 (maximum of 8 for women)

- Age Eligibility: Candidates born between 02 July 2005 and 01 January 2008.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Educational Qualification:
- Must have passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
- At least 50% marks in English (in Class X or Class XII).
2. JEE (Main) Requirement:
- Candidates must have appeared for JEE (Main) 2024. Selection for the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview will be based on the JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) 2024.
Medical Standards:
- Candidates recommended by SSB must undergo a medical examination.
- Detailed guidelines are available on the Indian Navy’s official website.
Selection Procedure:
- Shortlisting: Based on JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) 2024.
- SSB Interviews: Scheduled at Bangalore, Bhopal, Kolkata, and Visakhapatnam from September 2024 onwards.
- Merit List: Prepared based on SSB marks. Final selection is subject to medical fitness, police verification, character verification, and availability of vacancies.
Training Details:
- Selected candidates will join the Indian Naval Academy as Cadets for a four-year B.Tech course in Applied Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
- The Indian Navy will cover the entire cost of training, including books, reading material, and clothing.

- Documentation: Upload necessary documents such as birth proof, 10th and 12th marksheets, JEE(Main)-2024 score card, and a recent passport-size photograph.
- Print Application: Take a printout of the application and carry it along with original certificates/documents while appearing for the SSB interview.
