Bulandshahr, UP – In a startling turn of events, four policemen have been suspended for allegedly framing a youth by planting a pistol in his car. The incident, which has sparked widespread outrage, took place on July 21 in the Shikarpur police station area.
Dinesh Kumar, the father of the young man named "Amit", claims that his son was returning from a function when he was stopped by policemen in a market. According to Father, the officers forcibly placed a pistol in Amit’s car, leading to his arrest and subsequent imprisonment. This controversial incident has raised serious questions about police conduct and integrity.
A purported video of the event surfaced online, showing the policemen removing a weapon from a motorcycle and placing it in Amit's car. The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) acted swiftly upon the video's release, suspending all officers involved.
Rakesh Kumar Mishra, Superintendent of Police (Crime), confirmed the suspensions and provided further details. The officers suspended include the in-charge of Shikarpur police station, the town outpost incharge, and two constables. Additionally, an inquiry report will be submitted to the Senior Superintendent of Police, and a separate report is being prepared regarding two home guards seen in the video.
